This Privacy Policy explains what information SubsCut ("we," "us," "this site") collects when you visit, and how it's used. We built this site to be as low-data as reasonably possible.

Information we collect

Most tools on this site, including the Subscription Calculator and the Diaper & Baby Essentials Savings Calculator, don't require an account or login. The one exception is our Trip Expense Planner tool, noted separately below.

  • Calculator data (Subscription Calculator, Diaper & Baby Essentials Savings Calculator, India and Dubai Real Estate Strategy Portals): Any figures you enter into these tools are stored only in your browser's local storage. This data is never transmitted to our servers or any third party.
  • Trip Expense Planner: This tool requires you to create an account (email and password) so your trip and expense data can sync across your devices and be shared with travel companions you add. That data is stored on our server, not just your browser, and only within your account. If you don't want data stored server-side, use one of our other tools instead, all of which are fully local and don't require sign-in.
  • eBook purchases: If you buy a SubsCut eBook, the "Buy Now" button takes you to SuperProfile, a separate checkout platform. Your payment details and the email address you provide for delivery are collected and processed by SuperProfile, not by us — we never see or store your payment information. See SuperProfile's own privacy policy for how they handle that data.
  • Analytics: We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns (pages visited, approximate location, device type). Google Analytics sets its own cookies to do this; see Google's own documentation for what it collects. This data is not used to individually identify you.
  • Cookies: Google Analytics and, once our AdSense account is approved, Google AdSense both set cookies in your browser. We don't set any additional first-party tracking cookies of our own.

Advertising

This site includes Google AdSense, which will display third-party advertising once our AdSense account passes Google's review. Ad providers may use cookies or similar technologies to serve relevant ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising through your browser settings or viaGoogle's Ad Settings.

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click through and make a purchase or sign up, we may earn a commission. This doesn't affect the price you pay, and doesn't influence which tools we choose to recommend.

Your rights

You can clear your local-storage tool data at any time by clearing your browser's storage for this site, or by removing the entries directly in the tool. To delete your Trip Expense Planner account and the data associated with it, contact us at the email below.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy occasionally. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
